Vrij bezoek aan de 2de grootste stad van Jamaica. Het historische centrum is niet te missen en wordt gekenmerkt door zijn imposante herenhuizen, zijn rijk versierde kerken zoals de Sint-Jacobsparochie die bekend staat om zijn glas-in-loodramen. Aarzel niet om te stoppen voor een bezoek aan het Rose Hall-museum, dat de geschiedenis van de slavernij in Jamaica volgt. Als u van de natuur houdt, mag u het marine park niet missen, dat is een must. Het is de thuisbasis van prachtige koraalriffen, mangrovebossen waar flamingo's en zeekoeien leven. De stranden van Montego Bay staan ook bekend om uw nautische activiteiten en zijn ook een broedplaats voor schildpadden. Op 3km, langs de North Coast Highway mogelijkheid om de mooiste watervallen van het land te ontdekken, het hotel mag u Rainsforest Sky niet missen, die u 214 meter hoog het Jamaicaanse regenwoud in brengt met een sensationeel uitzicht op Ocho Rios. Onderweg halte in Sun Valley Plantation voor een bezoek aan het familielandgoed en verschillende tropische vruchten te ontdekken die u kunt proeven onder het genot van een vers geperst fruitsapje. Aankomst in Port Antonio, kleine wandeling over de lokale markt, de jachthaven van de beroemde Errol Flynn en wandeling in het koloniale Thitchfield om de oude houten huizen te bewonderen. Aan het begin van de dag raden we voor liefhebbers van avontuur een omweg aan naar het Blue Mountains Park, waar veel wandelingen worden aangeboden. Voor liefhebbers van ontspanning en ansichtkaartlandschappen zal het paradijs, beter bekend als Frenchman's Cove, meer dan \u00e9\u00e9n bekoren. Deze besloten baai met een hagelwit strand wordt omgeven door weelderige tropische bloemen en planten. Je hebt de mogelijkheid om een boottocht te maken op de Blue Lagoon, daar te zwemmen en te stoeien op het apeneiland als het weer het toelaat. Tijdens deze excursie kunt u genieten van de natuurlijke schoonheid en een adembenemend uitzicht op de Blue Mountains. Al wandelend door Castleton Gardens, een van de oudste botanische tuinen, word je verrast door al deze tropische vegetatie. Geniet op weg naar Kingston, de hoofdstad, van dit panoramische uitzicht langs de Blue Mountains, van de stad die een historisch en levendig centrum onthult.
